clockwork thoughts -unpainted- by ariscene clockwork thoughts -unpainted- by ariscene
Something I'm making for someone special.
It's a clock, made of various houshold/thrown materials.
You can probably spot the twigs, cables, gears, plactic cups, and the reused real clocks ofcourse...!
The large metal frame is from an old fan, an the "moon" is a polystyrene ball covered in glue and ash.
It'll be painted with acrylics soon, but I thought I'd upload the unpainted version too, so you can spot all the junk in it :D
There are supposed to be three clocks, one for the hours, one for the minutes and one for the seconds.

ps: hope I'll be able to update soon
ps2: sorry for the bad pic, I wasn't supposed to upload this, but what the heck :)
ps3: I haven't made the hands yet

I really love this, it's fascinating to look at. Is it three different clock movements, just synced up, or are they connected somehow? This really makes me want to grab a bunch of stuff and throw something together xD

It's three different clocks, synced up. So, just grab stuff and make something already :D
And thanks!

Veeery cool. It's neat to see how much the paint finished the look.

Well, without the paint it looks like a pile of random stuff glued together :P

Not that random to me, but I'm seeing it from the after picture perspective so I guess I'm biased. :)
