etheroscope -goggles down- by ariscene etheroscope -goggles down- by ariscene
"In the Underworld your skin feels numb, there is no sense of heat or pressure...Remember that sound is muffled as if you were immersed in water, and normal vision isn't of much help either....
With the etheroscope you can see the nether things,
and we have also incorporated a Morse-Radio unit to communicate with the expedition.
Wear it at all times.
But be warned: do not -for any reason- remove the breather unit. Inhaling Ether will stupefy you forever, and trap your mind in the realm of half-light...."

This is the Etheroscopion (Etheroscope), made out of standard goggles and junk, and painted with acrylics. I only need to attack a leather strap to it, so it can be normally worn.

Unpainted version: unpainted goggles

Another view: goggles up
Yet another: goggles down

These are beautiful. I love the pipe nose, looks like a victorian/venetian doctor crossbreed. The paintwork is flawless... in that it looks rusty and flawed. I would employ you to paint professionally if i owned a prop company. Also the way you have aged the glass is genius. :D

Heh, glad you noticed the pipe! I had a plague-doctor theme in mind :)
And thank you for the compliments, have a nice day!

Really cool! The dust smears on the glass is a nice touch.

well done! The paint job does a good job of hiding the fact they're plastic. I was stunned at first because I thought the entire assembly was metal
